Marketing Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and market-oriented Senior Market Intelligence & Field Marketing Specialist to strengthen our understanding of the Ethiopian energy market. The successful candidate will conduct market research, build relationships with industry stakeholders, identify business opportunities, and coordinate offline marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Intelligence & Field Research

• Conduct regular market visits and interviews with dealers, distributors, EPC companies, installers, retailers, and potential customers.
• Monitor competitor brands, product models, pricing, stock availability, promotions, and market trends.
• Identify potential dealers, business partners, installers, and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare regular market intelligence reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

1. Industry & Institutional Relations (B2B/B2G)

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, energy companies, business organizations, government institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and coordinate participation in industry exhibitions, conferences, forums, and networking events.
• Build and maintain an industry stakeholder database.
• Identify potential partnerships and support corporate PR and institutional engagement activities.

1. BTL & Retail Marketing

• Plan and coordinate offline marketing activities, including exhibitions, product launches, roadshows, dealer events, and retail activations.
• Oversee store branding, promotional materials, printing, suppliers, logistics, and on-site event execution.
• Monitor marketing budgets and prepare event and activity reports.
• Work closely with the digital marketing and creative teams to ensure effective campaign execution.
