JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and expand our market presence across Addis Ababa and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding agents/distributors, developing effective distribution routes, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, and ensuring strong product availability and visibility in the market. Experience in the bottled water sector is mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
• Agent and Distributor Recruitment: Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop qualified sales agents or distributors across different routes and market segments in Addis Ababa.
• Market Coverage and Route Development: Design, implement, and optimize sales routes to maximize market coverage, customer reach, and distribution efficiency.
• Present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Improve market coverage and demonstrate a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Utilize strong knowledge of Addis Ababa's retail market, wholesale channels, and distribution routes to an advantage.
• Engage in route-to-market planning, sales forecasting, sales reporting, and performance management.
• Apply strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
• Maintain good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
• Work effectively under pressure, travel within assigned markets, and lead field sales activities.

• Number of new agents and distributors recruited and activated.
