Job Summary

Main Purpose of the post

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the strategic planning, technical design oversight, and rigorous supervision of all electrical power, lighting, and specialized Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems. This role is critical in ensuring the uninterrupted power supply required for vaccine manufacturing, cold-chain storage, and high-precision diagnostic laboratories.

The Engineer ensures that all installations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), international standards (IEC/IEEE), and local codes. The role bridges the gap between traditional electrical infrastructure and the IT-integrated automation systems (SCADA/BMS) essential for modern biopharma facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. Planning and Construction Management

1. The Senior Electrical Engineer plans, organizes, and oversees all electrical installation activities from site mobilization through testing, commissioning, and handover. The role reviews electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications to ensure efficient execution of works.
2. Responsible for ensuring electrical installation schedules are monitored regularly; corrective actions are initiated to address delays in procurement of long-lead items (transformers, switchgear) or sequencing conflicts.

B. Site Supervision and Contractor Coordination

1. Provides day-to-day technical supervision of electrical contractors and subcontractors, ensuring wiring, containment, and equipment installations are carried out in compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
2. The Senior Electrical Engineer coordinates site activities among multiple contractors, resolving technical conflicts and ensuring smooth interfaces between electrical works and other disciplines such as HVAC (power for AHUs), Mechanical, and IT/Data infrastructure

C. Quality Control and Workmanship

1. Ensures that all electrical works meet required quality standards through implementation of inspection and testing plans (ITP), material approvals, and rigorous workmanship inspections.
2. Ensures non-conforming works are identified and rectified. Special attention is given to cable terminations, panel labeling, grounding/earthing integrity, and the protection of sensitive electronic equipment

D. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management

1. Ensures that all electrical works meet required quality standards through implementation of inspection and testing plans (ITP), material approvals, and rigorous workmanship inspections.
2. Ensures non-conforming works are identified and rectified. Special attention is given to cable terminations, panel labeling, grounding/earthing integrity, and the protection of sensitive electronic equipment

E.Cost, Measurement, and Progress Control

1. Verifies electrical work measurements, reviews contractor progress claims, and supports cost control and variation management activities.
2. Construction progress is tracked against the approved baseline schedule, and accurate progress reports are prepared for management review

F. Documentation and Reporting

1. The Senior Electrical Engineer ensures that electrical documentation, including cable schedules, test certificates, as-built drawings, and operation manuals, are properly maintained.
2. Weekly and monthly progress reports are prepared and submitted to the Engineering and IT Manager, highlighting achievements, load requirements, risks, and mitigation measures

G. Responsibility and Accountability

1. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the technical quality, electrical safety, and timely completion of electrical works within assigned project areas.
2. Accountable for effective site supervision, contractor performance, and compliance with approved construction requirements.

Authority: The Senior Electrical Engineer is authorized to:

1. Issue site instructions related to electrical works.
2. Reject non-compliant electrical materials or workmanship.
3. Recommend corrective actions and work adjustments.
4. Escalate technical, safety, or schedule risks to the Engineering and IT Manager.

Effort required: 1The position requires sustained mental focus, technical judgment, and regular physical presence on construction sites. Work involves routine site inspections, testing of energized systems, and coordination meetings.

Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, install, test, commission, and maintain electromechanical systems associated with audiovisual (AV) solutions, LED display systems, smart rooms, smart classrooms, and related ICT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, test, and commission audiovisual systems, including projectors, interactive displays, professional displays, video conferencing systems, sound systems, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and AV control equipment.
• Integrate AV equipment with computers, network infrastructure, control systems, and other ICT devices.
• Able to execute the installation of indoor and outdoor LED screens, video walls, and digital signage systems.
• Coordinate the installation of mounting structures, supporting frames, brackets, and other mechanical components.
• Ensure proper electrical power distribution, grounding, cable management, and protection for LED display systems.
• Configure LED controllers, processors, receiving cards, and display software as required by the project.
• Implement smart classroom and smart room infrastructure, including interactive displays, smart boards, projectors, AV systems, lecture capture equipment, video conferencing facilities, and related technologies.
• Coordinate the installation of electrical outlets, dedicated power supplies, cable conduits, trunking, floor boxes, equipment racks, and mounting accessories.
• Implement structured cabling and connectivity for AV and ICT equipment in coordination with network engineers.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, method statements, and implementation schedules before commencing site activities.
• Prepare installation plans, material requirements, work schedules, and daily or weekly progress reports.
• Diagnose and resolve faults affecting AV equipment, LED displays, smart classroom systems, power supplies, and related infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Achieves electrical maintenance staffing objectives through the recruitment, selection, training, assignment, scheduling, coaching and discipline of employees. Communicates job expectations. Plans, monitors, evaluates and reviews job contributions. Plans and reviews compensation actions and enforces procedures and policies.
• Meets operational goals by contributing information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, preparing and enacting action plans, maintaining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in preparing the department budget, in terms of materials, new software, new hardware and etc.
• Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
• Ensures stable electrical supply by maintaining equipment and outlets, including energy management system for prototyping and assembly systems, lighting and security apparatus.
• Provides power and connectivity to workstations and offices by studying blueprints, running electrical wiring for common and dedicated electrical outlets and fixtures, and providing raceways for telephone and fiber communications.
• Supports engineering needs by responding to service requests for mechanical and electrical problems.
• Preserves equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand, regularly performing preventive maintenance and promptly scheduling repairs.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
• Create and implement maintenance procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.

Senior Auto Electrician

1. Receive directions from assembly & after sales supervisor; organize the work of junior mechanics
2. Follow Manufacturers’ procedures and assemble components of vehicles which are imported in CKD/SKD configurations

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems used in glass bottle production. The role ensures continuous and safe operation of critical electrical machinery and systems by applying industry best practices and technical expertise. Major duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on glass-forming machines, control panels, feeders, and high-voltage systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnoses electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing tools and repairs and replace faulty wiring, switches, motors, and electrical components to maintain production efficiency.
• Conducts routine inspections and testing of automation equipment and diagnoses and resolves issues related to SCADA, PLCs, sensors, HMIs, and networked systems ensuring reliability.

Job Purpose

The Senior Welder will perform welding, fabrication, repair, and installation activities for plant machinery, mechanical components, steel structures, and pipework. The position also supports maintenance operations, ensures quality workmanship, and complies with established safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding using SMAW/MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, and other relevant welding processes according to assigned duties and approved procedures.
• Fabricate, repair, and install metal structures, machine components, brackets, frames, platforms, guards, supports, and pipework.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, dimensions, and technical instructions.

• Minimum of five years of relevant industrial welding and fabrication experience.
• Practical experience in welding, metal fabrication, equipment repair, and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or plant maintenance is an advantage.
• Experience guiding junior welders or coordinating welding activities is an added advantage.
• Relevant welding certification is preferred or required where applicable to the assigned work.
