2. BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Under general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and controls marketing and supply chain functions of the company; develops operating policies and procedures for marketing, customer services, procurement and sore management and implements same upon approval of the Board of

Directors; leads and manages marketing, customer services and sample intake, procurement and sore management activities of the Company.

3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and controls marketing, customer services and sample intake, procurement and sore management functions of the Company;
• Directs the development of operating policies and procedures for marketing, customer services and sample intake, procurement and sore management functions of the company and implements the same when approved by the Board of Directors of the Company.
• Ensures that the marketing, customer services and sample intake, procurement and store management activities of the Company are undertaken as per approved policies and procedures;
• Ensures the systematic and   safe record and maintenance of the marketing and supply chain transactions of the company;
• Assesses and evaluates regularly the quality, adequacy and effectives of the provision of services; investigates irregularities in customer service provision and takes corrective measures;
• Puts in place customer friendly and customer focused environment and system to enhance corporate image and stimulate sales products and services of the company;
• Directs the conduct of advertising and promotions to popularize the services of the Company and improve its market share;
• Conducts market research and analyzes finding to exploit market opportunities and fulfill corporate objectives;
• Ensures the availability of adequate supply of materials, goods, supplies, equipment, tools, etc required for the smooth operations and support services of the company;
• Ensures activities are undertaken in ethical manners avoiding any conflict of interest, particularly in matters related to supply and purchase functions;
• Corresponds with appropriate government organizations, associations, individuals etc. related to marketing and supply chain issues;
• Ensures that customers are well handled and their enquiries properly addressed; appropriate advice is provided to customers regarding company products and services,
• Ensures, in collaboration with concerned departments, that the required chemicals are purchased as per the quality specifications set by the company;
• Keeps confidential all customers and other company related information and records that he/she has access to;
• Prepares periodic performance reports and submits to the General Manager;
• Evaluates the performance of subordinates periodically; and
• Performs other related functions as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
