Role Overview

We seek a well-experienced Commercial Leader to drive our overall commercial strategy. You will oversee Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, and directly manage Sales Managers across our Seed, Chemical, and other divisions. Your mandate: optimize profitability, streamline go-to-market operations, and keep Markos PLC the partner of choice for Ethiopian farmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement commercial strategy for Seeds and Crop Protection portfolios
• Identify growth areas, evaluate market trends, and build business cases for new products and partnerships
• Own the P&L for commercial divisions
• Lead, mentor, and manage Sales Managers across Seeds and Chemicals
• Oversee Marketing to ensure brand guidelines and campaigns are executed in the field
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Optimize go-to-market model: dealer management, pricing, and distribution logistics
• Manage A&P budget for optimal ROI
• Implement sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory liquidation processes
