Position: HSE Engineer / Safety Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and standards at the project site.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company procedures.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and regular HSE awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and prepare investigation reports.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, inspection checklists, and incident documentation.
- Monitor emergency preparedness and participate in emergency drills and response activities.
- Ensure contractors and workers comply with site safety requirements.
- Monitor environmental protection measures, including waste management, pollution prevention, and housekeeping.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports to management.
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Identify unsafe practices and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve HSE performance at the workplace.
- Perform other HSE-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
