Background

The Ethiopian Pulses and Oilseeds Exporters Association (EPOSEA) is a membership-based trade association representing exporters of pulses and oilseeds in Ethiopia.

As part of its ongoing commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability, EPOSEA intends to engage a qualified and independent audit firm to undertake a comprehensive review and audit of its financial operations covering the past three (3) fiscal years.

 Objective of the Assignment

The objective of this assignment is to:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit and financial review
• Assess compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems
• Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen financial management and governance

 Scope of Work

The selected firm will:

• Review and audit financial statements for the past three years
• Examine accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assess internal controls, systems, and procedures
• Review compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Identify areas for improvement in financial management practices
