Addis Tyre S.C. Was Established in1972G.C as state owned Company by the help of Czechoslovakian Government. The factory Yearly Production Capacity Was 60,000 Tyres & 45,000 tubes with a total labor force of 260.Latter as of 1973, government established a joint venture (JV), with the Japanese known tire company called YOKOHAMA, and jointly worked for about 22years.in 1994, the JV agreement was dissolved and the government runs the business with full ownership up to May 2004.

JOB SUMMARY

To safely operate plant and equipment, monitor and control the process to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost. Ensure all filtration operational and quality KPI’s are met during the shift they are allocated. • Monitor Beer Filtration, flow rate and efficiency

• Timely connect and send Bright beer to packaging line
• Control Carbo blender and CO2 consumption.
• Make up caramel and Iso-hop on additive dosing station based on proper Calculation if need.
• Follow BBT filling, DO2, and Top pressures, temperature and other Parameters
• Follow DEGASSER and DAW unit operation.
• Monitor beer loss and oxygen pick up.
• Clean and foam all filtration area based on cleaning schedule
• Keep all the required BBT parameters during filtration.
• Prepare de-aerated water and blend with HGB beer with the required std.
• Monitor process water distribution/disinfection and DAW plant.
• Follow make up of CIP chemicals if the concentration below the required value
• Perform & Follow CIP of BBFX, UBT, FBT, DAW, BBT, MBX DAW tanks, packaging line etc.
• Confirm Acid, Caustic and disinfectant make up for CIP of your respected areas.

Background and Purpose of the Position

The Government of Ethiopia, with financial support from the World Bank, is implementing the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience (HEPRR) Project to strengthen health system resilience and preparedness and response capacities in Ethiopia and the Eastern and Southern Africa region. The Ministry of Health (MoH) leads implementation of the project in collaboration with key implementing institutions, including the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA) and Regional Health Bureaus. Effective implementation of the project requires timely, transparent and technically sound procurement of medical equipment, goods, works, non-consulting services and consultancy services in accordance with applicable World Bank procurement requirements and project documentation. The HEPRR technical assistance therefore includes Procurement Specialist-Biomedical Engineers assigned to MoH/PMED and EPHI to strengthen procurement and technical capacity.

The purpose of the Procurement Specialist-Biomedical Engineer position is to provide specialized procurement and biomedical engineering expertise to support the planning, technical specification, evaluation, procurement, contract management and follow-up of medical equipment and other project requirements. Working closely with the Finance and Procurement Directorate, Procurement Case Team and project beneficiaries, the Specialist will help ensure that goods, equipment and services are procured efficiently, competitively and in compliance with World Bank guidelines and procedures. Justification

Description of the Assignment

Project Management
