Job Purpose
To supervise the day-to-day operation of the guesthouse/lodge, ensuring quality accommodation, housekeeping, food service, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety, and efficient use of resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily guesthouse/lodge operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate housekeeping, room preparation, laundry, food and beverage, and general guest services.
- Ensure rooms, common areas, kitchen, dining areas, and surrounding premises are clean and well maintained.
- Welcome and assist guests professionally and handle their requests, concerns, and complaints.
- Monitor room occupancy, reservations, check-in/check-out, and guest records.
- Supervise and guide guesthouse staff, including work schedules, attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices.
- Control guesthouse supplies, inventories, equipment, and consumables and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate maintenance and promptly report facility or equipment problems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, hygiene, and security requirements.
- Prepare regular operational reports and maintain proper records.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
