HEINEKEN is looking for motivated and technically oriented Brewing Operators to join its brewing operations team in Bedele, Oromia.
The Brewing Operator will support the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of brewing equipment and processes. This role is suitable for an early-career Chemical Engineering professional interested in developing practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and beverage production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor brewing machinery, equipment, and processes in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Ensure brewing operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards.
- Monitor process parameters and equipment performance and promptly report abnormalities, breakdowns, or operational issues.
- Perform basic operational checks and assist with routine equipment cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Support the preparation, handling, and processing of raw materials required for brewing operations.
- Monitor product and process quality throughout the production process and report deviations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the brewing area.
- Follow all applicable health, safety, quality, environmental, and production procedures.
- Accurately record relevant production, process, and equipment information as required.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and other relevant teams to support smooth operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, quality, safety, and equipment reliability.
- Perform other duties related to brewing operations as assigned.
