Job Description
HEINEKEN is looking for a technically skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join its maintenance and engineering team in Bedele, Oromia.
The Electrical Technician will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems, equipment, and production machinery. The role is suitable for an experienced technical professional with strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills and practical knowledge of industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and routine electrical maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly identify and report electrical faults, breakdowns, or abnormalities.
- Conduct routine electrical inspections and ensure identified issues are addressed appropriately.
- Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical control systems, motors, sensors, control panels, and other industrial electrical components.
- Support production operations by responding to electrical equipment breakdowns and minimizing production downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and work performed.
- Work closely with production, mechanical maintenance, engineering, and other relevant teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the maintenance area.
- Follow all applicable electrical safety, health, quality, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability, productivity, safety, and maintenance performance.
- Perform other duties related to electrical maintenance as assigned.
