About this role

Manage and oversee all construction activities at the project site to ensure effective and timely project execution.
Lead, supervise, and coordinate site-based teams, including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and construction workers.
Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly site activities in line with project requirements and work schedules.
Monitor construction progress and ensure planned activities and project milestones are achieved within the required timeframe.
Coordinate the activities of different construction teams and ensure proper sequencing and continuity of work.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work meets project requirements, quality standards, and agreed schedules.
Ensure the availability and effective utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for site activities.
Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with project health, safety, and environmental requirements and promote safe working practices across the site.
Identify and address construction, operational, and coordination challenges that may affect project progress.
Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders on site.
Conduct regular site meetings and provide direction and guidance to site teams on work priorities and requirements.
Monitor team performance, productivity, and resource utilization and take appropriate action to improve site performance.
